We’re excited to share recent media coverage of our 4th Annual Guardian Day event, which will take place on August 23, 2025, at the Firmin Ranch in Slaughter, Louisiana.
Unfiltered with Kiran published a spotlight article highlighting our ongoing mission to support first responders and their families — including six recipients this year, one of whom is a 30-plus-year veteran of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office battling breast cancer.
Hosted annually by the Guardian Day Foundation and supported by Firmin Construction, the event features live music, great food, a car show, silent auction, and more — all aimed at raising funds to aid first responder families affected by illness, injury, or disaster.

Why Guardian Day Matters
Since 2021, the Guardian Day Foundation has awarded over $200,000 in aid to 18 first responder families across the Greater Baton Rouge Capital Region. In 2024 alone, over $100,000 was raised thanks to generous donors, sponsors, and attendees.
First responders are the guardians of our community. When they face hardships, our mission is to ease their burdens so they can focus on healing and their families.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and shared this incredible day with us.
