Give Blood, Give Back: Join Us for the 2025 WAFB & Guardian Day Foundation Blood Drive

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Your donation can save lives — and this August, it can also support our local heroes.

The Guardian Day Foundation is proud to partner with WAFB and the Our Lady of the Lake Blood Donor Center for a week-long blood drive to help fill our local blood banks and raise funds for first responders in need. For every blood donation made through the OLOL Blood Donor Center during this event, $30 will be donated to the Guardian Day Fund — providing direct assistance to first responders and their families facing illness, injury, or other disasters.

When you donate, you’re not just saving lives — you’re helping ease the financial burden for those who put their lives on the line for us every day.
