At the Guardian Day Foundation, we’ve stood beside first responders through their toughest moments—when a diagnosis shakes a family to its core, when a catastrophic injury turns life upside down, or when tragedy takes someone too soon. We’ve seen the strength it takes to put on a uniform and serve others even when your own world is falling apart. And we know that behind every brave responder is a family sacrificing right alongside them.
That’s why we created the First Responder Scholarship Fund.
This fund is our promise to the children of those who serve: You are not forgotten. Your family’s sacrifice matters. And we’re here to walk beside you.
When a first responder is facing illness, injury, or disaster, it’s not just their career on the line—it’s their ability to be present for their children, to save for college, to dream about a better future. We step in to ease that burden, to carry some of the weight, and to ensure that their kids can still chase their goals—even when the path gets hard.
We’re not just funding education. We’re investing in resilience, hope, and the legacy of service that lives on through the next generation.
When our first responders are called to serve, they show up—no matter the risk, no matter the cost. They run toward danger to protect our families, often while carrying burdens of their own. At the Guardian Day Foundation, we believe it’s our duty to stand by them when life takes an unexpected turn. The First Responder Scholarship Fund is one of the ways we do that—by investing in their children’s futures and easing the financial weight that hardship so often brings.
This fund is more than a gift—it’s a promise. A promise that our community doesn’t forget its heroes. A promise that their children can still pursue their dreams, even when life gets hard. When you contribute, you become part of something deeply meaningful. You help honor their service, lift up their families, and ensure that no Guardian walks alone.
The Guardian Day Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (EIN-86-3084453) that exists to help first responders and their families.
